For the Marketing Director only

If you manage the marketing of your real estate developer,

This is not for your boss to read.

The objectives of the marketing manager of a real estate developer are different from those of the CEO.

The CEO’ s objective is to make the operation as profitable as possible.
Although it is a mistake to think only in economic terms, this is often the norm.

If you don’t also think about the brand of the promoter, they are a very short-lived company.
You will meet many examples of promoters who have only promoted once.

It is curious to note that although the CEO is very comfortable with web messages of the type:

‘Your happiness is our goal’

“We only think of your family” or

“We put the focus on your future home”.

These messages hide the opposite.
I have never understood the lack of honesty they convey. It seems as if the promoters were non-profit NGOs. But I’ll tell you about that another day.

Back to the interests of the boss.

He looks for the profitability of the operation. It looks for big numbers and deadlines.

However, the person who runs marketing is not concerned about that.
That person is not usually a partner of the CEO.

If you are one of those people and you are still reading this, I’m sure you agree with me.

You want to do your job well. You want it to deliver results, and your concern is that you don’t get sacked.

You have to be smart in your decisions, for yourself and for your company. But above all for yourself.

Moreover, these interests are not mutually exclusive.

To make it clear (although I think you have it pretty clear), your boss expects you to bring him leads so that sales can do their job properly.

If you don’t bring them, you should worry.

The difference in budget from an average to a very good visualisation company is ridiculous.
That additional cost, your boss, does not care in the least.
With the false belief that by saving on this item, that your boss will value it as your achievement, you make a blunder.

I am not saying not to think about the company. It is precisely because you are thinking about the company’s major objectives that skimping on this is a mistake. Wear the medal you deserve.

You get paid to choose well, not to choose cheaply. You get paid for getting it right, not for saving money.

That is what your boss will value. That is what will give meaning to the right decisions you have made in your area.

With all this I do not want to provoke you to choose us.

I don't expect you to share it, but I'd like to be wrong.

I don't expect you to share it,

but I would like to be wrong.
