The starting point
In Formigal, the buyer isn’t buying square metres:
they’re buying the image of coming back from skiing to find a fire burning in the fireplace.
That feeling—warmth, wood, the mountains in the background—is what needs to be sold, and doing so with an architectural plan is practically impossible.
The images tackle this from two complementary angles.
The exterior shots place the houses within the real setting of the Pyrenees, with snow-capped peaks in the background, in both summer and winter, so that the buyer understands exactly where they are buying.
The interiors create the atmosphere:
wooden beams, panelled walls, fireplaces in the living room and bedroom, warm lighting, mountain views from every room.
There isn’t a single cold, clinical rendering in the entire project.
What the RE Developer achieved
Selling the experience of living in the Pyrenees to a buyer who makes their decision from the city, in summer, with no snow in sight.
Making that buyer feel the cold outside and the warmth inside before they’ve even set foot in Formigal is exactly what the images achieved.
“When imagination surpasses reality, we discover Juan Gayarre’s infographics.
His quick and elegant vision, and his exquisite handling of space, bring projects to life and make them easier for future clients to understand—
who, after all, are the end users.
Working with Juan is always a pleasure. You know he’ll grasp the idea straight away and that you’ll be satisfied with the final result of his work.”
