I started where many do: in a room at my parents’ house, with a computer that seemed about to explode and the dream of setting up something big.
There wasn’t much glamour, but I didn’t need it either.
I knew what I wanted: to build my own studio and work with the best. The path was neither direct nor easy.
I went from that first room to renting a bigger studio. Each step seemed like a step forward, but I quickly learned that more square footage doesn’t make you more professional.
So I grew. I changed space several times, more equipment, more clients. Everything was going well, but something didn’t quite fit.
Big offices were not the key to success. I always felt more comfortable working my way, with just enough, but with results.
And then I decided to do what few would do: I went back to work from my own home after the covid. Yes, from home. But not in a “let’s start from scratch again” way.
No, no. The studio came home, but the projects and clients were still great.
Here’s the trick: you don’t need a huge office or a team of 50 to do amazing things. From my home, with a small but unbeatable team, I’ve been working for over 30 years with top companies that come back to me time and time again. Why? Because we deliver solutions that work.
The truth is that moving back home was the best decision. I got rid of paying absurd rents and having to impress with big offices.
What matters is what comes out of here: solutions that sell, and clients who know it.
No matter where you work from, what counts is what you are capable of doing. And if someone tells you otherwise, they’re probably more concerned about showing off than delivering results.
