I remember in 1992 when we went to Munich to a lecture about 3D and architecture.

It was the first time that I was able to get VR glasses and we also talked about image 360.

It was the beginning: the looking for a 360 virtual tour. When you put on your glasses, these became a mask of your real environment. You could only see what was projected in both cameras you had a few millimeters of your pupils.

The most surprising thing was not what was projected. What was most striking was that, with your head movements, you controlled what was visualized.

As you can imagine, more than 20 years ago, although the machines used were the strongest then, the experience was far from real. You were supposed to move your head slowly and graphics within this immersive environment, they were very basic. Over time, with the increasing speed of processors and software necessary, the experience to immerse yourself in an immersive environment has improved.

Quickly, the benefits of this technology of 360 virtual tours and image 360, could bring to such fields as medicineautomotive and, why not, war and its disorders, were understood.

Another day we will talk about other realities such as the augmented one (AR), the QTVR, the IMAX 3D experience and some more, and its connection with architectural visualization.
