I want to talk to you about how normal is sometimes extraordinary,
but first let me introduce you to a great guy.<\/h2>

It is big because it is more than two meters long, but that is the least of it.<\/p>

I met this Irishman playing snooker. It is one of my passions next to golf. <\/p>

You see: putting pellets in holes.<\/p>

I have been practicing both disciplines for more than 45 years and it doesn’t show.
I like both but I don’t stand out. In fact, I think I play worse and worse. <\/p>

But to the point.<\/p>

We both met at the same bar in Zaragoza, the Drinks & Pool. The name says it all.
At that time, I used to go there with my great friend Luis, who I will tell you about another day. The most cultured guy I know. <\/p>

I almost always beat him, but that didn’t stop us from having great nights together where pool wasn’t the most important thing.<\/p>

I, as a good obsessive, wanted to play for hours and hours to improve, but of course, Luis was not that interested.

<\/p>

One day a big guy who was playing and doing very well caught our attention. We were surprised how his height was not a limitation to bend down a lot while playing (the more you bend down, the better you aim).<\/p>

After we had a few beers under our belts, we struck up a conversation with the Irishman.
He was an English teacher and married to a ma\u00f1a.
We hit it off.<\/p>

We kept seeing each other and there came a time when we considered teaming up. He and I.
Luis breathed a sigh of relief from his generous obligation to me. <\/p>

We played in the league the following year. We had a great time and continue to do so. <\/p>

As we got to know each other better, one day I asked him:<\/p>

You hardly knew me when you proposed to team up with me, why?<\/em><\/p>

And he replied, \u201cBecause you’re normal.\u201d<\/em><\/h3>

He was referring to the difficulty of finding someone like me, a normal, funny and extremely cultured guy.<\/p>

The world of billiards is very special. There are some very strange people. It is a world that, fortunately, has already got rid of that aura of night slum with dangerous people, smoke and gambling. <\/p>

In any case, finding someone with no pretensions of anything and entertaining is not the norm.<\/p>

In the real estate business<\/strong>, believe it or not, similarities can be found.<\/p>

Everyone seems to be shining and doing well.<\/strong>
Showing off with arrogance is very common.<\/strong><\/p>

That’s why, when you meet normal people, it’s appreciated.<\/p>

Everything flows naturally, and yes, you can also do exceptional things and business without resorting to ridiculous attitudes.<\/p>

Nowadays, meeting normal professionals is becoming less and less frequent.<\/p>
