We are like the magician David Copperfield…but in reverse.

Those of our generation were amazed when we saw David Copperfield on TV making the Statue of Liberty disappear or crossing the Great Wall of China.

The magic he was causing was so mind-blowing that we didn’t care what the trick was.

It made large “things” disappear that we knew were there.

Turning the architect’s plans into a believable reality is also a bit of a trick, since we “make something appear” that,
for most mortals, does not yet exist.

It doesn’t seem like so much magic now but, when we started doing it in the 80s,

many of us were captivated and immediately saw the needs that this technology would meet.

Lately, we have all been fascinated by the potential of AI.

It looks like magic to us again. But I’ll talk about that another day.

Before, doing something by computer, had value for the simple fact that it was not done by hand. It is no longer surprising to go from 2D to 3D, but there is something that makes a difference:

The Magic…

The magic that transcends the technical translation of a two-dimensional reality into a three-dimensional one.

The magic that produces EMOTION when a viewer sees a computer recreation and sees that it is not like the others.

That it has something that hooks you and captures your heart.

Many companies limit themselves to a mere literal translation of the information. Even this “translation” is impeccable in technical terms. But it is not enough.

If the visualization does not connect emotionally, magically, with the viewer, a great opportunity is lost. It is not as useful to the promoter.

If you want us to create a magical moment and your client wants to buy from you, write me and we’ll talk about your next project.

PS: I will not wear a top hat.

I don't expect you to share it, but I'd like to be wrong.
