I’m sure you remember this

You were just starting to live.

You had been with your partner for several years and, making the milkmaid’s tale, you decided to take the plunge:

Buying an apartment

(yes, believe it or not, many developers are not born rich).

Now you see it far away, but you remember it perfectly.

You put a cap on yourselves.

You counted both salaries and talked a lot about that limit.

“I’ve already calculated it.

You are already fixed. I don’t know but I think I’ll get it too.

Interest rates are very high but I think we could go as low as a floor of so many thousand.”

With all the enthusiasm in the world, you started searching.

You knew what you wanted: two rooms and if it was without a pool (what a luxury!) at least with a nice terrace (yes, I write it in local terms).

You were approaching plots of land where they announced: “New Construction”.

You visited those promoters recommended by your parents.

It was like that. There were no social media and everything was discovered by word of mouth.

Unfortunately, you realized that what you liked was out of your reach.

But suddenly…

You discovered the ideal apartment

They showed it to you with plans that smelled funny and unfolded.

In that promotion, there was even an image of the building painted in watercolor.

You went home very excited. As soon as you sat down, you did the math again. This time with a bolder optimism.

That floor had touched your heart.

With a certain amount of unconsciousness, you decided to take the plunge.

Years later, when the family grew, you could no longer fit and sold it to go to one with a swimming pool.

Promoter, think about the illusion of that couple who came to see you yesterday.

Reflect on them. Share the illusion.

Show them the floor without skimping and even help them crunch the numbers.

Now our children have it harder than we do.

Do what you can and project your past into their future.

They will thank you and you will grow as a promoter.

If you do all that, you’ll sleep happily.

Don’t you think?

I don't expect you to share it, but I'd like to be wrong.

I don't expect you to share it,

but I would like to be wrong.
