This iconic campaign created by Contrapunto BBDO in the early 80’s was and still is a total success. It is part of our life and we use this expression that everyone recognizes.
ECI launched its first sales in January 1940.
Linking sales with good weather or on the way to good weather is a good thing in itself.
It is the time of the year when our minds, once winter is over, are more prone to shopping.
And the real estate world is no exception.
There are several aspects that determine the market launch of a development but, given the choice, all developers prefer to launch in the spring.
The effects are evident.
If you want to go out at that time of year, you should plan your promotional campaign to make it possible.
There are several players involved and doing it in time is worthwhile.
Let’s do the planning exercise backwards, thinking that you want to leave on May 15. That forces you to:
- Have the publications ready in RRSS 10 days before > May 5.
- Have paper brochures ready (some prefer them to pdfs) also by that date but if you want to print, you will need at least 15 days more > April 20.
- If you want to have margin to solve errors, 10 days more > April 10
- To make a quality presentation, the images and/or video will need between 1 and 2 months of execution. That brings us to January 10.
- Before or almost at the same time, the project and the qualities must be defined. One more month > December 10.
- You must take into account when you must have the License to start trading. This is the most difficult factor to plan for.
But as you can see, to do things well and in time to reach May 15, you should start the process at the beginning of December.
Almost 5 months earlier
If this is not done, everything becomes unintentionally complicated.
Maybe you think I’m exaggerating, but as far as our work is concerned, if you want a quality renders, you should talk to us after the RRMM.
Our experienced clients know that in order for this to be possible, they must book our calendar several months in advance. This way we guarantee our availability for them.
Fortunately, although everyone would ideally like to go out on those dates, it is not always possible. That’s why we only do 6 to 8 projects a year.
